“I knew I am now part of everything, we are all linked together via the source of life.”

   What Melanie here tells us is another general conclusion from the Near Death Experience (NDE), which points towards that God is to be found within through a form of I God. People who have NDEs are more likely to shift from being outwardly close to God to being inwardly close to God.

   People will testify that God is in every one of us; that “everything is part of God” and that everything in existence as an essence of God within.

   David reveals that:

The core of the experience I had was LOVE and Interconnection. I believe the Light permeates throughout everything. All of our physical reality has a component and a connection to the Light. Our physical presence is a manifestation from the Light, giving us the perception of separateness…Everyone and everything has this connection to the light.

   This was the same conclusion I found in my study, where 80 percent said that “God is within” and 87 percent said that they agreed with the statement: “God is in everything.” Russ explains that, “I remained as my unique self but I knew there was also a connection with God.” And from Mary’s experience we can learn that she had feeling of “connectedness to all things” and that she was feeling “God in all things.”

   That God is in everything and that God is within is not foreign to the Christian religion. In the Bible, Ephesians 4:6; we find that God is “above all, though all, and in us all.” We also find a question in 1 Corinthians 3:16 by Paul that guides us in this direction: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”
